It has been a busy week for UAE-based Islamic financial institution, Emirates Islamic as it celebrated the 53rd UAE Eid Al Etihad and announced a new agreement with longstanding partner Visa.
On 2 December, Emirates Islamic took part in the 53rd UAE Eid Al Etihad celebrations with a vibrant display of traditional Emarati culture at its headquarters in Dubai Healthcare City and other branches in the UAE.
A series of engaging activities were hosted bringing together the bank’s employees and senior management, including various events, food stalls and traditional performances. This included a theatrical presentation by Emarati students on the UAE’s national heritage, performances by Emarati children in association with the Hamdan Bin Mohammad Heritage Center and a mini-exhibition to promote young Emarati entrepreneurs.
Additionally, activities were also arranged at the bank’s main branch in Abu Dhabi as well as at the Emirates Islamic Home Finance Center.
New partnership renewal
There was another cause for celebration not even a week later, as Emirates Islamic renewed its partnership with digital payments juggernaut, Visa. The announcement underscores the shared values of both Visa and Emirates Islamic in providing innovative customer-centric products and solutions to customers and boosting digital payments in the region.
As part of the partnership agreement, Visa will be granted exclusivity overall credit cards issued by Emirates Islamic.
