Broadridge Financial Solutions, a US fintech offering investor communications and technology solutions to FIs, has hired Simon Robertshaw as CTO of its front office trading capabilities division.
Taking to LinkedIn to announce his appointment, Robertshaw says he will “bring together and evolve all front-office trading capabilities across the organisation, inclusive of Broadridge Trading and Connectivity Solutions and other platforms across capital markets, investment management, wealth management, and ICS”.
Robertshaw, who will be based in London, joins Broadridge from The Bank of London where he served as COO for two and a half years.
Throughout his career, he has held various leadership roles at the likes of Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Wachovia Bank and UBS.
In June, Broadridge unveiled former HSBC exec Roz Smith as the new COO of Broadridge International, assigning her a similar role to Robertshaw’s, with a mandate to “scale and streamline” the division.
Founded in 2007, Broadridge claims to generate over $6 billion in revenue while supporting a daily trading volume of over $10 trillion across equities, fixed income and other securities worldwide.
