Opn, the one-stop financial solutions company, has announced a partnership with BigPay, a mobile wallet and e-money platform from Malaysia.
This collaboration aims to facilitate seamless digital payments as BigPay expands its services into the Thai market.
Following its success in Malaysia and Singapore, BigPay has forayed into the Thai market to meet the increasing consumer demand for digital wallets and cashless payments. Opn has been selected as a partner to provide users with the option to top up their wallets from their mobile banking applications, leveraging Opn’s expertise in integrating seamlessly with several banks simultaneously.
“We are thrilled to partner with BigPay and support their expansion into Thailand. Our mission is to provide the most stable and seamless payment solutions, and we are confident that our collaboration with BigPay will significantly enhance Thailand’s digital payment landscape even further,” said Ezra Don Harinsut, co-founder and president of Opn.
Apirudee Prachyaset, BigPay Country Head in Thailand, added, “We are excited to bring BigPay to the Thai market and offer financial services to Thai consumers. BigPay is an e-wallet application that comes with the BigPay Visa Platinum prepaid card, which users can use to make payments worldwide. The process of topping up the card is one of the key steps that needs to be convenient and secure for users. Our collaboration with Opn will enable us to provide a seamless top-up experience, as well as meet the growing demand for cashless payments in Southeast Asia.”
BigPay recently launched its application for Thai users, offering payment solutions for travel that integrate seamlessly with the AirAsia MOVE application. Additionally, the app features Stash, Roundup, and Analytics, designed to promote the financial well-being of users in Thailand.
The strategic partnership between Opn and BigPay marks a milestone in BigPay’s expansion strategy. By leveraging Opn’s expertise in digital payments, BigPay is poised to deliver service to Thai users, drive the adoption of digital wallets, and contribute to the digital transformation of payments in Thailand.
